well, hows about an updatery on this thing!!
so, where to begin really!
since the last entry, ayla and i have been to hellfire ressurection for oz kinkfest (and saw the beautiful satomi and lukas zpira perform), that night shall be memorable for oh so many new things we both saw!!...namely uh...dykes penetrating each other on stage with dildos...??! ehm, there was even one where this lady was fucked by a live teddy bear...then when the bear finished an egg popped out of her, uh, vajayjay, and inside the egg was a big stuffed teddy bear:O!
there was also the token drag queen, the hanged man team, burlesque, gender benders...and, of course...the guy with the boot fetish who ended up sitting there licking my boots.
ahem. yeah. moving on...
i was also cut by lukas of course- and wow was i ever impressed by the guys skill!
we had our massive halloween party too- which was soo freakin huge and there were just too many kids there that ayla ended up kickin many out^^ then the little shits went and tagged the whole street>.<
other than that though there were no real disturbances other than the fact that it rained and so inside was totally ruined! haha. but i got to see my russian friend topless and for that my night was made:D fyi all men should have hairy chests:P
also- siobhan (stuffsh) has been staying with us here in melbourne- and boy am i way jeouls of this gals travel itinery! its certainly inspiring me to hit the road again soon^^
we've pretty much been bumming around...i think the most exciting part was certainly the hare krishna mantra/dance/feast session we attended:D haha. today one of the housemates drive us down to the beach , which was just beautiful!
i didnt even know melbourne had such nuce beaches hehe
tomorrow she leaves...aaaanndd....bmodder jojo arrives on wednesday from germany!!
:D
heres a piccie of us at the beach^^

Updates ay....Recently moved in with Ayla! So now I'm in Melbourne again!
Saturday, my brother and I were on our way with a car full of my stuff, when I thought we should drop by Third EYe to finally make this scarrrification appointment with one of the guys there- well timb asked, since I was there we should just do it then!
Soo my brother sat in the room refusing to look while timb cut me up some! ( tho seems everyone else working there dropped by to take a look!)
I had myself all geared up and hyper for some painful times coming up- but then timb whipped out the blue gel and although the outside cuts still had to be made, the skin peeling was not really felt at all. An hour and a half in all- Too easy!!!
I was also only charged two thirds of what I paid for my original scars, and timb did an extra row- I was so suprised I forgot to tip! When I see Marshall in dec there to get tattooed I'll see if I can't shout timb lunch or something because I feel quite rude about it...
I was suprised tho, that timb mentioned a good amount of clients use blue gel to get tattooed. Don't think it would ever occur to me to use it for getting tattooed!!

there is nothing quite like the death of a known person to bring you down to earth and to question yourself and your own mortality.
my great aunt betty died last monday, they found her four days later, dead on the toilet.
i don't know about you, but thats not the way i want to go out.
i don't really recall much about her, so i find it hard to find tears for anyone but myself, because i know that, yes, i will die someday, but i don't know when. selfish?
yes.
i recall she smoked a lot, because when visiting as a child i recall strong coughing, and the smell of tobacco. her apartment was small, and she gambled a lot. (so mum tells me now). she also left behind her five children, no longer children now of course. of the five known children, she only raised one. the others, either at birth or later on in their childhood, were adopted out. all had deep trouble coming to terms with being unwanted. my mum told me before being adopted out, or being put into shelters, the eldest two, mick and kris, lived with her and her 6 siblings for a while. i can think of nothing worse, than being put into a childrens home, having known your own family.
of the three who were adopted out, one is a lawyer, who wanted nothing to do with betty and never met her.
the second a police officer, and met betty only after his adoptive parents died.
the third was a junkie, and would constantly harass betty and steal her things, and even tried to burn her apartment down, once.
mum said betty spoke to her once about how her first husband would beat her, and how they moved every few months to keep the debt collectors at bay. she couldn't even afford the gas for heating or water, because in her time you had to put a coin into a machine to light the pilot light for the gas system.
i can't help but wonder, how different her life may have been if she lived in this era as a young women? contraceptives for one! or was it just that she was attracted to the abusive sort of men? so really, perhaps nothing would have been different.
all i kow is it reminds me to not get too caught up in the cycles of depression, because she died alone, refusing to let anyone get close. and not one member of the family has a good memory for her, other than that spurred by pity.

hey guys:)) apologies for being slack on replying the past week or so- i'm getting there i just haven't been home! also, when i was my net connection was slowed to a point that it was just painful to use:/
anyway! the past few days i spent in melbourne, catching up with some friends there, and met up with two cool kids from this site, too^^
i spent tuesday catching up with bmod member ayay and piercedoff for coffee in the city which was rather cool. i've lost contact with most friends there, and the ones i do have aren't into modding, so it was rather awesome to catch the two:))
tues nite ayla even cooked for me! (see piccie posted^^) she is one damn fine cook! i even got spolied and had a cooked brekkie too hehe.
(btw, the walls of her house are rather cool colours:D)
wednesday the tattoist i'd been designing a piece with had a cancellation so i was able to get in to see him so we could finalise the design and make an appointment. i met ofir (piercedoff) there, (after me stuffing up the initial meeting point:P) so he got to see my design and take a look at the shop:) well, alls fine and dandy, and then i get told the soonest i can get inked is DECEMBER!!
eep! oh well...i do dig this guys work. i just may have to find some more bits to cut/scar/pierce.
the rest of the day i got to hang out with ofir and he even shouted me lunch!:))
anyhoo, a cool few days indeed^^ and now i have fast(er) internet- so all is well in the life of me. hope everyone else is living it up too:))

23/05/09 (some lack of travel blues i guess??)
ich hab keine lust.
nothing i really do these days brings much joy. i gave away all of my belongings. i now own, three pairs of shoes, one suitcase of clothes and a lap top.
i'm living at my mums on the couch while she's on the farm, although shes supposed to be holidaying, since i'm actualy employed by the government for respite care to look after my younger siblings. she really does need this, there has not been one evening of her not having a tantrum and i really have no energy or will to comfort her anymore.
also seems i'm less tolerable of idiots and more prone to saying no these days...or just not responding.
i'm ok though. there's nothing wrong. i have a nice part time job at the local pub, i'm busy with the kids and things are really....dull. but bearable. i understand life has these times.
got tickets to splendour in the grass, which is in byron bay (big surfers beach in along the east coast of oz), for july. so looks like my new travels will begin then!
i really have no money, so my idea is to buy a tent. just hitch hike around oz for a while, get seasonal work when i need it. just dissappear.
we'll see...the respite care grant ends in july, so mum really can't afford to have me here after that and i'm not mad keen on moving to melbourne, since i'm not sure it really presents anything new...

guess its about ime to update things here! again, i do apologise for not answering comments, i'm just, well, i'm ok just missing excitement.
but you know, since the last blog, i haven't really written the rest of my european adventures!
after latvia, i was in poland for just one week, only warsaw and wroclaw for this trip. but i plan to go back next year and see the rest with a friend i grew up with, who's parents are polish:))
wroclaw had a gorgeous old town, and i even met a polish gal who, cos i'm aussie, invited me out for dinner and drinks since i couldn't afford it!! she was so super cool, and i absolutely am in love with polish food!
after poland, it was off to austria to catch up with some friends there (i actually added this dude on myspace a few years back, and after 2 years of chatting we got to meet, and i think him and his gf are two of the most awesome people i have ever met!). but the most bizarre thing happened on the trip..when i was in katowice waiting for a connecting train to vienna, (and dear god, the trains in eastern europe are just shite!), i met a girl who had just returned from tampere, finland, and even knew the guyi stayed with there!! ha! such a small world! she was such a friendly person, and it sure did help the nine hour train journey go faster! she also gave me a list of northern metal bands to look up, her being a dj in a metal club, she was very helpful on the subject^^
so, vienna was great! i kinda lazed around a bit, and my friends made me dinner which was super sweet, since they'd already eaten. the next few days we just spent wandering aimlessly, eating ice cream and talking your generalcrazy talk:)) konst is really quite obsessed with my mods, and is always trying to analyse my reasoning, which really just makes me laugh- and him exasperated!
i left vienna very low on cash, and so decided to hitch hike,,, which was no walk in the park! i was to go to münchen, and it took me so long since people kept dropping me off at very small towns on the way, but i got there eventually!
münchen was lots of fun, and i got to see the city by bicycle, see nude sun bathers by the river, people surfing on the same river- and drink beer out of huuge ass beer mugs that were an effort just to lift up!
next on my travels was nürnberg, and i must say, this was one of the most prettiest german cities i've visited! the old town was surrounded by two walls, and between both walls was beautiful parkland, the air fragrant from the cherry blossoms.
from here, it was to mannheim! where i caught up with bodymod members carmetta and progi. these two are two cool cats, and i never realised how close carmetta was from when i was living in frankfurt!! it really was a great way to end my travels in europe though, and it was nice to chill by the river in mannheim in the sunshine and cook some nice food^^ the two are really nice company!
from here it was back to frankfurt, and i had a great evening spending it with the family i worked for, the mother even cooked me my favourite risotto, and i spent a great deal of the eveving out in the spring evening playing with the boys:))
then, it was back to oz!!
and well, the highlight was meeting bodymod member ayay, and eating great dumpling together^^ i totally owe her a beer, too, since i went skint on dinner and owe her some monies:P
and the last three weeks, well, that for another blog!!
hope all is well in the land of modders! (:P)
hopefully next photo update will be me with my new hair- since i bought some clippers the other day to shave some off hahah. it will probably fail:P

so, despite sulking a bit, i left riga, latvia, in good spirits. i'd had some good conversations with my host, bought some strawberries for the roommates and farewelled the cat and dog in style (by buying them some treats^^). we spent the last day exploring abondoned buildings and cemetaries, and when lauris had to go to work i went with him and hung around a bit (he works at a groovy youth hostel). so, i got lots of hugs upon leaving, and this put me in good spirits. its always exciting to be on the move.!
i also got rid of a whole heap of clothes..funny how attatched you can be to clothing!! gave them all away since i decided i didn't need them. felt good:) sounds like nothing i know, but now everything i own fits into a backpack!
arrived in warsaw, poland, this morning. it was like a trip back in time..to the soviet era! the bus stop was freakin dirty, nutty old bags at the counters, dirty buses, old clothing, small shop fronts selling sweet pastries (and omagod they're warrrm!)...shit..i love it!!
oh, and did i mention the sun is shining:D today is one awesome day!
i didnt sleep last night since it was a cramped up crappy bus overfilled with fat old people and all i've eaten in two days is chocolate...plus i need a shower, somewhere to wash my clothes, fix my boots...and maybe someone to talk to?:P?
meet my host tonight, looking forward to it!

i'm in riga(latvia), its a bit boring. but thats my fault. i feel like a looser. a friend i was supposed to meet in prague is no longer there. i feel like a bit of an idiot. just wish someone would actually fucking stick to something for me, right.
i fucked up the bus schedules, and got locked out of the squat i was staying in and my bags were freaking stlil in there. i waited til 1pm but no one came back, so i climbed through a window...bit tricky since i had to get out on the balcony first. lucky the dog likes me! (we shared pizza the other night)
on the up side, although the scabs on my burns are still gross, at least they don't stick through my shirt anymore. despite the gauze and stretching whenever i could, i've lost about half of the length of the split. i still talk with a lisp and sound like a total dickface. its only taken a week for it to stop sticking to the gauze of a night and being tender. well, its still a bit tender, but last night was the first night i didnt wake up with sharp pains (enough to bring tears)from the gauze rubbing against a small bump thats developed on one side from when it got stuck real good to the gauze a few nights back...
heres to hoping it doesn't heal up anymore!!

A big HI to everyone:) Sorry to have not replied to anyone in a while- this being on holiday business means i don't get access to the internet very oftern, and when i do...its expensive!
So, I'm now in Helsinki, where i've been for the past two days. I arrived in Tampere on the 18th and had a minor panic attack..thining they wouldnt let me in since my visa for the shengan zone has expired...but the big burly guy just grimaced at me, stamped my passport and welcomed me to Finland.
Well, it was kinda funny, i flew with ryanair from Stansted that day (and btw holy crap travel in the uk is fucking expensive!!)- i decided worst job in the world would be to work for ryanair!!
there were people demanding extra tickets since THEY missed their flight, and i had to wait in line for an hour just to check in an extra bag- lucky a guy called people for tampere and i got to jump to the front and then they didnt charge me for the extra baggie, for which i was very happy!
Anyway, enough about ryanair!
My host in Tampere was so freakin swell! In his profile he had written he liked bicycles...but he had four and one was worth 1200 euro! He had awesome long blue dyed hair and gave awesome bone crushing hugs:) Haha, who said the northerners are cold!!
I did have the flu pretty bad, so he had to put up with me moping a fair bit for which i felt a bit silly. But the funniest part??
Sauna!
There was a public sauna in his apartment that anyone could book for an hour anytime, so we decided this would help my cold...well, sure, sauna thought i...what do i need? oh, nothing but a towel. Only, he wasnt wearing no towel! So uh, showering nudie and sitting down in a room at 70 degrees c with a complete stranger was certainly something new! After we decided to walk up the outside staircase, and ended up running around in nothing but a towel and our boots having a snow fight..
Crazy Finnish!!
Before leaving Tampere i also met two members from another bodymod site im on, but had to run away to catch my train after two hours- naturally just as the converation waas getting interesting!
So, Helsinki!
I arrived pretty late in a nearby town, and missed my connecting train to the area where my next host lives...and of course i have no credit on my german mobile and there are no public pay phones in finland! Lucky, if you ask anyone, theyre happy to lend their mobile, and i thought this was really sweet, since that would never happen easily in oz!
Yes, well, i did eventually get to my host, and hes pretty damn cool too:)
He'd posted on his profile he was into bodymods, so i had told him i would be getting my tongue split. Well, he came with me to Paradise Tatoo in town, where i will be getting the split, since he wants a frenum ring and wanted to talk to someone about this...
Anyway, since i have the flu still, we said we'd wait til wednesday, and lucky for me my host said i can stay with him for as long as i like, so i reckon thats well cool!
Its pretty damn cool to meet these people who welcome you like a friend, even give you the keys to their apartment not knowing you! and let you use their house like it was their own:)
To say thanks, ive been doing the cooking, and its awesome to be able to do this while on holiday! Since the past few weeks have really either consisted of eating take away, or not eating at all!
So, things are cool! Last night we went and saw some live bands, the headling act being Norweigen band Mortis...the accoustics sucked bad in the venue, but it was an alright gig... and all the awesome clothing of the crowd and band members were fair awesome;)
Anyways, i'm off to make pancakes!

Ahh, update!!
Wow! What a packed few days its been!
SO, let me start at the most recent...
The branding! First, my tattoist from oz relocated to london a few months back, and a guy shes working with has started to do brandings. Kat mentioned he may need some people to build up a portfolio, and i was vollunteered:D
Well, the guy was a super cool, and happy to do whatever i wanted (you can check the pics for an idea:)).
After redoing the stencil four times or so (we wanted them to be symmetrical...but my ribs are a funny shape:p), we finally staarted. ahh, now i dont really know how to descrine it, but the stench was pretty bad!
reminded me of a really bad drought we had a few years back where our livestock were just dropping dead left right and centre, and we had to collect the bodies and burn them...yes, a pleasant smell indeed!! but watching the smoke was somewhat hypnotising...
the pain was quite intense, and we were at it all together for just under an hour maybe. the one thing that suprised me greatly, that although the burning hurt, as soon as the element was removed the pain was gone. And i recall with the scarrification taking a shower kiled! but other than some tightness of skin, the healing is less painful that a tattoo (of course, i havent started to irritate it yet...)
I must say though, this branding was really so satisfying! I recall feeling such clarity of life at this time...
Next in line, Sunday! I actually arrived in london saturday, then took a train to Reading where my cs host is. (Actually its quite funny, in paris i stayed with an indian guy who offered his couch, and here in london i am doing the same thing!)
So sunday, i took a train to Worcester (pronounced Worse ta lol, i kept saying worchester), which is where bmod member freckled20 is studying! Haha, it was mega cool to meet her, and we had an awesome lunch:D haha she was totally right, Worceter is nothing special, but im glad i went to meet her! I think we both yakked the afternoon away very quickly, haha, so much so, i totally wasnt watching what i was doing with the trains when i was leaving..and went int eh wrong direction! So, i went for some walk in teh country side, which was really pretty:) and then sat by the train station for the next hour talking to a kid who said he was 16, but really could have been as young as 12!
Oh, so, now i have to write about my last night in Belgium...because, it has to be written about!
you will never guess..this belgian guy, whod been stringing me along..had a gf! and how did i find this out?? because i was hosted by this gf in Brussels!! i knew her housemate, so it wasnt completely random. but, holy fuck!
it was, not the ideal situation. anyway, i feel bad for her. shes a great gal, a very emotionally charged one on a bad run, but a great person none the less. weve both been stooged. lucky for me, this already feels a life time ago, and not just last week. the joys of travel!! when i pass through again, she invited i should stay with her again. i may just do that. i think i should supply the booze.
ok, so, a bit of a recap thats all over tha place- but this writing on public pcs is annoying! ill upload some pics soonish...im off to visit my old tattooist!
yay:)

13/3/09
heyyy!! sittin in an internet cafe in paris waitin for my train back to brussels and thought id make a bit of a recap of the past week! and well what a week it has been...
ok, first thing, leaving frankfurt was big fucking let down and a very disappointing end to my year there... the boss drove me to the train station, then when i went to leave, told me i had ruined our friendship and reduced it to money. i had let her down and we were no longer friends, and that i needed to learn the lesson to value my friendships and i was choosing people on the internet who i didnt even know instead of being loyal to her...
it was a shock. this lady was like a mother to me, but she said nothing about her feelings on me not staying an exra week before this. and how the fuck am i supposed to explain the value of the friendships i have made on here?? i d met both ralf and jojo before, and i speak online to jojo al,ost every day of the week online! i consider him a true friend! and i had met ralf before, and he offered a long time ago for me to visit and i had looked forward to this for some time!!!
basicly, i feel extremely let down by this woman i worked for in germany, and cant believe i stuck around for 12 months!!!
anyhow, arrived sat morning in hamburg bus station without a wink of sleep and a stuffy nose from crying all night, to be greeted with a hug and chocolate cake from ralf- it was really so sweet!
he had been sick the days before so we both took it easy and watched some films and took some sight seeign by the beach:) he even cooked dinner for me that eveing when he didnt eat anything himself:p
hes a great cook:D
i hada great tile, and cant wait for him to come visit me in oz eventually!!!
monday morning i met jojo for breakfast, and i felt so stupid because we had such a short amount of time and i felt a bit rude for this:/ he bought me brekkie and then i had to sprint in under three minutes not to miss my train to utrecht so i didnt even get to say goodbye!
the train to utrecht was ( hrs long, and when i got there it was pouring rain, so i decided i would go back to brussels since i knew ppl there and it wasnt raining...
annyyway; stayed with spunky belgian guy...which i knew was a bad idea before i even got there. but i was past caring. thought i was feeling ok, and monday evening was the expected romance, before i uh, packed up my bags when he was in the shower tuesday morning, yelled gooodbye and ran out the door.i really dont know why i did it..i just felt like crying and i didnt want him to see me acting like that, and didnt want to complicate things when i know i cant expect any type of relationship from this guy when thats what i really want from him...
havent heard anything and dont think i will...got as far as the corner and threw up everywhere. certainly very classy.
found a cheapish hotel in brussels centre since the hostels were booked out and even got a free upgrade. put my bags away before coming down stairs to ask the desk guy where an open chemist might be. he tells me to sit down, disappears and retunrs with two beers. i stare without reacting for a few seconds before he tries to stick his tongue down my throat.
fucking gross. i thought it would be nice to throw up all over him but lucky for him there was nothing left in my stomach. so i went to bed.
i really dont see how anyone stinking like vomit could be found attractive but i certainly made sure the management knew what a sleeze this guy was.
so, i decided, i needed to get out of belgium! and jumped on a train that after noon to paris!!!
i had written in the couchsurfing forum if anyone would like to meet up for drinks or something, and was so stoked that i got heaps of last minute couch offers and had peole to meet me at the north train station of paris
aaaand i just realised i gotta get my train it leaves in five min will write more later but will say paris is awesome and jussi is gonna split my tongue next week in finland!!!!!!!!!
peace out

Update Updates!!!
Since it does seem I have severely neglected this blog- I decided it was high time I update it!
These are the following entries (obviously for no ones pleasure but my own lol...just to keep track of the travels, rather than have all my entries saved in my bodymod account!). The following entries are from the past 12 months that I'd saved elsewhere:
